Hello, and welcome to Mr. Aficianado. We here at MA love to smoke, and we’d like even more to share with you our passion for tobacco. We’ll be writing reviews and publishing our thoughts not only on cigars but hookah as well. Here’s some more info on the writers here at MA:
Kyle: I first started smoking when I turned 18, three years ago. I started small, a cigar here, some hookah there. Hookah was perhaps the bigger draw for me at the time, as it was easier to get into and didn’t have such a steep learning curve as cigars did. However, I’ve come to love cigar smoking for its complex nature; enjoying a quiet hour puffing a stogie, discerning what flavors my latest tobacco stick held. Now I’d like to pen some of my thoughts (ok, maybe not with an actual pen) about cigars and shisha, and share my own reviews.
Josh: Whats up everyone. I began smoking hookah when I turned 20 and cigars at 21. I have only been smoking for two years, but I have smoked a considerable amount in that short period of time. Being as obsessive and dedicated as I usually am, I knew cigars and hookah would quickly become lifelong hobbies for me. There even were times when I would smoke 3 or 4 bowls of hookah back to back in one sitting, or smoke 4 or 5 cigars in a single night (and I still do sometimes). I strive to be an expert at whatever I do (well…maybe except college…) and so I did extensive research to learn about cigar smoking etiquette, pairings, brands, types of tobacco, etc, so that I wouldn’t be a total idiot when I visited a nice lounge. I also believe that I have mastered the art of packing a bowl of hookah and you, the world, can put me to the test. But regardless of our skill and experience, there is nothing I love more than exchanging experiences, tips, and opinions with fellow smokers so that we can all enhance and enjoy our smoking experiences as much as we can. Happy smoking!
